• We had a great stay at Mannahouse. The place was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a fabulous weekend. It is artistically decorated with a lot of nice touches and it was quiet and very relaxing. The suites were private and easy to come and go from. The sauna on the beach was a fantastic experience. We booked a massage on site which was so convenient and relaxing; we booked with Dan and I had one of the best massages I have ever had.

  • Manna house was the perfect place for us to celebrate our anniversary.  The unit was cozy.  Great natural light and art.  The included amenities were thoughtful and added ease to our travel.  We loved the ocean front sauna! The entire sauna area was well curated. Massage by Erin provided a healing experience that left us feeling relaxed and restored. Thank you for creating such a wonderful experience.

  • A really great place to stay on Denman Island. This place is set up as a boutique spa. It was very private and the spa facilities were fantastic. We loved the cedar hot tub and cold dip tank, which are private to your unit. The highlight of our trip was our afternoon at the beachfront sauna, followed by an evening beachfront campfire.  The sauna is set up so you can sit in the sauna while enjoying the beautiful ocean view, and run right out for a cold dunk in the ocean or a sit at your relaxing fire. Mark is very friendly and a fabulous host. It was an amazing stay.

    I really appreciated the attention to detail and the well thought out beautifully designed accommodations and surroundings. ...a very special place and is offering so much in terms of value and options.
    The private hot tub and cold plunge tank was utilized to the maximum. We also enjoyed a spectacular morning on the beach... The sauna and the exquisite natural beauty of the oceanfront was deeply relaxing and restorative. Definitely a stay to cherish!!

  • Everything was amazing, the room was so well kitted out with the personal hot tub and the private beach so close by. Mark was attentive and a great communicator, he really made our stay magical. Only regret was not staying here longer. Would recommend this place to anyone, a little paradise getaway! 11/10!!!

Ocean Spray is the largest of the three units, a beautiful architecturally designed expansive space with a high fir-beamed cathedral ceiling, bamboo hardwood flooring, large windows bathing the room in natural light, a gas fireplace, and two outdoor decks/gardens.
​You enter from the front yard via the covered breezeway/deck with sky-chair and electric barbeque, through an ocean facing glass door framed by tall windows. There are high South-facing triangular windows, with a double glass sliding patio door leading out onto the back garden deck and personal Japanese "Ofuro" Cedar Soaker/Hot Tub* and Cold Plunge Tub. Padded seating in which to relax next to a fire pit, and a slatted wooden dining set are also provided.
​Art from the host's collection of prints by local and international artists, carpets and fabrics, add warmth and colour, set against a simple Zen inspired décor.
Please Note: All of the accommodations have an ocean view, but are not directly on the water; it is a pleasant 2 minute walk to the oceanfront amenities.

The Shared Kitchen is accessed from the inside back door of the unit into the common area.​
For the maximum safety of our guests post Covid; pots, pans, dishes and cutlery, are stored in the bar of each room.​

Disclaimer: This Virtual Tour was filmed in 2021, before the most recent renovations and improvements. The room hasn't changed, apart from some furniture and rug upgrades, and the relocation of the ovens and hot plates to the new shared kitchen.
